Capturing Jordyn’s Senior Session in Bloom at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Jordyn, a high school senior who embodies kindness, beauty, and grace. Her session took place at the gorgeous Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Richmond, Virginia—a perfect match for Jordyn’s bright and sweet personality.

Jordyn attends The Steward School and excels academically, but her passion for dance at Legacy School of Dance truly shines through everything she does. While she didn’t include any dance poses in her session, her grace and poise were undeniable in every shot. You can feel how much dance has influenced her, even in her relaxed and effortless presence in front of the camera. It was a joy to capture her natural beauty and elegance!

Jordyn brought a range of outfits that highlighted both her classic style and fun, casual side. She started with a stunning long sundress that flowed beautifully as she moved through the gardens. Then she transitioned to her casual jeans outfit which added a laid-back vibe to the session. Her third outfit was a timeless white dress that perfectly complemented the lush greenery of the garden. And then the special moment—her white dress paired with a cap and gown, symbolizing the exciting journey ahead. 

Every moment with Jordyn was a joy to capture. Her natural grace and beauty made her session truly unique. Whether she was posing among the vibrant blooms or spinning in her dress, Jordyn radiated joy and confidence.
