As a high school senior photographer in Richmond, VA, I have the joy of capturing so many incredible teens during one of the most memorable seasons of their lives. From dance and sports to senior portraits and cap-and-gown moments, every session is unique but this one was especially close to my heart.

Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph the Clover Hill High School Varsity Girls Soccer Team which just so happens to include my own daughter! This shoot was extra special, not only because I got to capture my girl in her element, but because it was packed with her friends, teammates, and plenty of laughter. These girls bring such a strong sense of team spirit and sisterhood to the field, and it was an honor to showcase that on camera.

We captured a variety of images, including both individual and group portraits. Each player had a moment to shine whether showing off their powerful kicks or simply standing confidently in their jersey, proud of all they’ve accomplished. We also created team photos that reflected the connection these girls share as teammates and friends. It was a celebration of their hard work, their friendships, and this unforgettable chapter in their lives.

Sessions like this are such a great way to celebrate the dedication and passion student-athletes bring to their sport. Whether your child plays soccer, softball, volleyball, or any sport in between, a custom sports session is a meaningful way to document their journey.
