As a Richmond senior photographer, I love when I get to photograph seniors who are not only hardworking but also full of personality—and Hayden’s session at Maymont was the perfect example of that!

Hayden is a senior at Matoaca High School and currently ranks 6th in her class. She’s ambitious and has big dreams for the future—her top choice for college is UNC Chapel Hill, with UVA as a close second. She’s considering majoring in business and hopes to blend that with her love for sports.

Sports are a huge part of Hayden’s life. At Matoaca, she plays both softball and field hockey, and she’s also dedicated to travel softball. When she’s not on the field, she enjoys spending time at the gym or going shopping. Her drive, both academically and athletically, shines through in everything she does.

For her senior pictures, we chose Maymont in Richmond, Virginia—a favorite location for seniors because of its stunning gardens, beautiful stonework, and variety of backdrops. Hayden brought three outfits that gave her session so much variety: a dark brown puff sleeve mini dress from Altar’d State paired with cowboy boots for a fun, stylish look, a fuchsia maxi dress that added a pop of color and elegance among the gardens, and a classic jeans-and-top combo for more relaxed portraits that showed off her natural smile.

Hayden was such a joy to photograph, and her confidence and energy made her session flow effortlessly. Her Maymont senior pictures truly captured who she is during this exciting chapter of life.

I can’t wait to see where her journey takes her—whether it’s UNC, UVA, or beyond, I know Hayden has such a bright future ahead!
