I have been photographing Lia for years at Prestige Dance Studio doing what she loves most...dance! This year she is a senior at Thomas Dale High School and is closing a big chapter in her life. She has so many big plans and dreams (including opening a dance studio of her own!) and has the talent to achieve everything she desires. Not only is Lia an amazing dancer, she is so passionate and has such heartfelt positive energy. It's not surprising at all that she won Homecoming Queen for her high school!

When Lia's mom reached out to me for her senior session, she explained Lia wanted a beach location, something a little different from what Richmond can offer. We decided that a senior destination session at Yorktown Beach would give us the perfect beach backdrop and would also offer some other gorgeous areas to include in her session. Although there was a storm (along with hail!) right before we started, the weather quickly turned around and it was absolutely perfect. Loved working with Lia and her family and am just thrilled with the portraits her family will treasure for many years to come!
