A Season to Shine-Reagan’s Richmond Senior Portraits at Maymont Park

One of the greatest joys of being a Richmond senior photographer is watching clients grow over the years. I first photographed Reagan many years ago at Prestige Dance Studio, and now I had the honor of photographing her high school senior pictures at gorgeous Maymont Park. Moments like these are such a reminder of how meaningful senior photography can be.

Reagan is a senior at Manchester High School, where she shines both in and out of the classroom. She’s a dedicated member of the Manchester High School dance team and has spent countless hours perfecting her art. That grace and confidence from dance came through so beautifully during her session. Beyond dance, Reagan loves baking and even worked as a lifeguard this past summer alongside some of her close friends from the dance world. Her session truly reflected her fun, creative, and well-rounded personality.

For Reagan’s portraits, we explored some of the most iconic spots at Maymont from the colorful gardens to the charming stone paths and serene open spaces. Maymont is always a favorite for my seniors because it offers such variety in one location, and it provided the perfect backdrop to capture Reagan’s style and spirit.

Photographing Reagan’s senior session in Richmond, VA was such a meaningful one for me. I’ve seen her journey from her early dance days to the confident young woman she is now, and capturing this milestone was truly special.
